People have said the following bad things from various internet websites and vendors about this particular Canon Powershot Camera Digital: "No optical viewfinder. Flimsy plastic doors on battery and usb port cover (minor annoyance). Image browser may be annoying at first if you are a mac user."
Overall rating: 9 out of 10 excellent
Personal opinion: Well, another great powershot camera from Canon. This one had fewer complaints than some other models, mostly relating to superficial things like the flimsy cover mentioned above. On the fundamental basis, people were extremely pleased with this particular powershot camera. Price was quite decent and very affordable.

Update 1: If you plan on coming to my hometown of New York City, New York, then one of the things you'll want to bring with you (obviously) is a camera. Many tourists to New York ring the SD870IS because of it's versatile features and ability to take sharp, crisp image pictures in any environmental condition, indoor and outdoor. So, if you're from say, Brazil, you won't have to worry about haze or smog affecting picture clarity and creating blurs.
